The tour will start from Cagliari.

From here, we will head towards the heart of Marmilla, in the village of Villanovaforru, where the majestic Nuraghe Genna Maria is located.

Together with the guide you will explore the nuragic complex, which is located on a hill in a wooded park.

Its strategic position offers spectacular panoramic views, ranging from the Gulf of Cagliari to that of Oristano.

Built 3500 years ago and destroyed by a fire, it has kept a lot of valuable information inside, that helps us to understand how the ancient prehistoric people lived in Sardinia.

How did they live in the prehistoric village?

The second stage of the Historical Tour of Sardinia is the archaeological museum of Villanovaforru which contains all the tools that have been found inside the nuraghe.
