The skill of the Nuragic Engineers

The tour of the Barumini Nuraghe starts from Cagliari.

This village is one of the most important archaeological sites in Sardinia.

It dates back to the Bronze Age, around the second millennium BC.

During the minivan journey, which will last about fifty minutes, your guide will tell you all about the pre-nuragic and nuragic history.

Barumini: UNESCO Site

This site is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for its historical importance and for the detailed information it offers on one of the oldest and most important civilizations in the Mediterranean: the Nuragic civilization.

During your visit you are going to admire the megalithic complex with its numerous tholos, the imposing central tower, the four towers, connected by a mighty wall.

A treasure inside Zapata House

After visiting the Nuragic village, we will head towards the museum created inside the Zapata house.

This is a house owned by a noble family, built around the 16th century and where another nuraghe was found inside during the renovation.

At the end of the visit, we will return to Cagliari.
