We’ll drive in front of the Cagliari Lagoon

The tour of the ancient city of Nora starts from Cagliari. 

During the trip on the minivan, which will last about forty minutes, you will be able to admire the Lagoon of Santa Gilla, the flamingos and the salines, while the professional guide will explain the details and the history of these places.

Learn more about Saint’Ephis

Once arrived on the suggestive peninsula of Pula, we will walk along the wonderful beach of Nora.

There, we will admire the small church of Sant’Efisio, a highly celebrated martyr in Sardinia, dating back to the 11th century and we will find out all about his festival that takes place every year  between the 1st and 4th May.

Two thousand years of history!

Finally, we will visit the wonderful ruins of the ancient city of Nora.

You will follow your personal guide who will tell you the history of this important Nuragic, Phoenician, Punic and Roman city.

At the end of the visit we will take a short walk to admire the landscape of the beautiful lagoon of Nora and if we are lucky we will be able to photograph some flamingos up close.

After that, we will return to Cagliari.
